Some more info about how ROSS got stared:
ROSS was part of the University of Toronto, Business of Software course taught by Helen Kontozopoulos and many others on the UofT IBM Watson teaching team in 2014. The course's objective is to develop a product using IBM Watson, an AI platform. They competed in the UofT course against another five student teams. They won first place and went on to compete in NYC in the first ever IBM Watson University competition.
ROSS ended up taking second place in the IBM Watson University competition and later moved to Silicon Valley to participate in the Y Combinator accelerator program.
